Bushiroad Spring Fest 2016 Continental Finals Champions – North America & Europe

Bushiroad Spring Fest 2016 has officially come to an end with the birth of the Continental Final Champions in all 3 regions! On July 23rd, the North America Continental Final and the Europe Continental Final was held to determine who will be the top for the respective continentals!

At the end of the day, after numerous rounds of tough battles, Clinton Chan and Tobias Kugler have emerged as our Champions for the Bushiroad Spring Fest Neo-Showdown 2016 Weiss Schwarz North American Continental Final and the Europe Continental Final respectively!

How long have you been playing Weiss Schwarz? How did you start playing Weiss Schwarz?

I started when Puella Magi Madoka Magica English Edition came out at my local store. My friend came up to me and said “Hey, this game looks awesome!” and it started from there.

What do you enjoy about Weiss Schwarz?

The part where no games are the same. The game is constantly evolving and changing. It’s not as linear as other games.

Which is your favorite anime in Weiss Schwarz English Edition?

How do you feel about your results in Bushiroad Spring Fest 2016?

The results were pretty good. It feels good to win again.

What do you look forward to in Weiss Schwarz for the latter half of 2016?

I’m really excited to see what sets will be released and how the meta game will change.

Do you have any word of advice for new players who want to play better?

Don’t fall under a spell of bad luck, it can happen to the best of us. Never let the good or bad shadow over you and keep level-headed at all times.

Tobias Kugler is from Schwabach, a small city in Bayern, Germany. He works for a wholesaler for toys and in his spare time, he likes to play video games, card games, watch anime and chill out with friends.

How long have you been playing Weiss Schwarz? How did you start playing Weiss Schwarz?

I have been playing for almost 4 years now and I started when Weiss Schwarz became popular in Germany for the first time with a couple of friends.

What do you enjoy about Weiss Schwarz?

I can play my favorite Anime series’ decks and the so called “Waifu” decks. Also, I really enjoy the overall mechanics that anything can happen even when it looks bad for you.

Which is your favorite anime in Weiss Schwarz English Edition?

Attack on Titan

Which is your favorite card in Weiss Schwarz English Edition?

“Beyond the walls” Mikasa because when I was building the deck, a friend of mine said “Please put this card back inside.”, and it paid off.

How do you feel about your results in Bushiroad Spring Fest 2016?

I am so excited about winning a title after two long years and I can say that I am finally back.

What do you look forward to in Weiss Schwarz for the latter half of 2016?

For Japanese Weiss Schwarz, I am looking forward to Love Live! Sunshine!! and for English Weiss, the new Extra Booster Kancolle: Fleet in the deep sea, Sighted!

Do you have any word of advice for new players who want to play better?

Don’t be salty when you lose and keep on playing. This game is meant to be fun and not to be salty.
